Mother Nature was shining today!

It was as if the wildlife wanted to be seen this morning on the St Johns River. All the regulars waders were out but the harder to find birds really showed themselves today. We could hear the Barred Owl hooting off in the distance, saw Bald Eagles and Ospreys but Purple Gallinules, Limpkins and Tri-colored Herons we saw close up. We found the big Gator sitting on the river bank and had 11 Wild Turkeys fly across the river just in front of us. The Manatee are moving about the river now that things have warmed up but one did manage to find us and love on our kayaks for a bit. Watching this interaction we sat in awe!
